Easy Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

I love whipping up some quick and easy biscuits for dinner 🙂 These are loved by my fam and well who doesn’t love garlic and cheese 😀

Easy Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

what you need
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
3 garlic cloves minced
6 tbsp of cold butter cut into cubes
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup buttermilk, I use 1 cup milk mixed with 1 tbsp of vinegar

For the top
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp granulated garlic

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add minced garlic, then using a pastry blender (or 2 knives) cut the butter into the flour mixture until it looks like oatmeal.
Add cheese and stir till its coated with flour.
Add the buttermilk and stir just enough that its combined, don’t over mix.
Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup and fill with dough onto the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake for about 20 minutes or till the edges are a nice golden brown. While they are baking, melt the butter and add the parsley and granulated garlic.
Remove biscuits out of the oven when done and brush melted butter over the tops while they are still hot.
Serve while they are still warm.
