Lisa’s Creamed Corn

I made this last night and it was soo yummy, I will never buy canned again 🙂 My family finished the whole pot LOL I guess they liked it a lot 😀

Lisa’s Creamed Corn

What you need:
1 large package frozen sweet corn, thawed
1 1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper or more to taste

2 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
2 heaping tsp cornstarch

Directions
In a large pot over medium heat, combine the corn, cream, salt, sugar, pepper, and butter. Whisk together the milk and cornstarch, and stir into the corn mixture. Cook stirring over medium heat until the mixture is thickened, and corn is cooked through.
